After studying art and design at Black Hawk College of Illinois, Josh Crampton is currently attending the Hallmark Institute of Photography in Massachusetts where he is studying the business and technical sides of photography.

Josh’s early beginnings in photography started around the age of six when he was handed a camera to take pictures of the wildlife, which inhabited the game reserve that he lived on.

Writing in third person is fun.

In his teenage years Josh began to develop his photo realistic graphite portraits, which has shown to be a beneficial skill for him while retouching photos.

Along with photo imaging and graphite drawing, one of Josh’s hobbies includes wood sculpting. Although he loves to develop the idea more than create the actual piece, he has been known to work on a freeform sculpture through out the middle of the night.

When asked by myself what it is that I enjoy doing most, Josh had this to say “ Since I was a young lad I have developed atmospheres in my mind, beautiful architectural landscapes where busy people can unwind, relax and enjoy quiet conversation mixed with eloquent cuisine. Listed on the menu will be a number of studios with a different theme for each, all part of the atmospheres that will make up my studio.”
